Nigeria's Men Basketball Team D'Tigers beat China one of the best teams in basketball 79-71 but suffered a defeat following a 73-82 loss to France on Friday at the just concluded Stankovic invitational tourney, put together as a preparatory/warm-up test for the Rio
2016 Olympic Games.
The current African Basketball Champions beat China 79-71 in their first game before going down to a 71- 49 defeat to Argentina in their second fixture. But D'Tigers were without the famous Aminu brothers and thus finished the competition with just a win and two defeats.
But current Africa's MVP basketball player Chamberlain Oguchi as well as Diogu, Umeh and Ebeks all played.
