FEDERATION CUP Updates: NASARAWA FEEDERS, PLATEAU Deliver Shocks


Nasarawa United were shocked in the final of the State Federation Cup as they lost 5-4 on penalties to their youth team, while Plateau United also upstaged premier league side Giwa FC to win in Plateau.
Non-league side Nasarawa Feeders shocked their main team on penalties after the Nasarawa final
ended goalless at the end of regulation time.
In Plateau State, NNL side Plateau United defeated Premier League rivals Giwa in the final 4-2 on penalties after the game had ended 1-1.
Dolphins brushed aside city rivals Sharks courtesy of a 17th minute free kick goal by Ifeanyi Egwim, while FRSC FC pipped FC Abuja after a penalty shootout in the FCT final.

Heartland expectedly saw off Papillo FC 2-0 in Imo State final with goals from Bright Ejike and Fred Okwara.

Other state winners were Shooting Stars, Kaduna United, Kwara United, Enugu Rangers, Sunshine Stars, Wikki and Nembe City.
