NPFL UPDATE: Bayelsa forced to a draw with Lobi, Wikki beat 3SC


Wikki Tourists defeated fellow promoted side 3SC 2-0 in their first game of the season in Bauchi on Sunday.
Former JUTH FC forward Victor Yakubu gave the hosts Wikki Tourists the lead in the sixth minute with a superb header to score the first goal of the 2014/2015 season.
 Yakubu completed a brace as he scored from the penalty spot in the 56th minute to give Wikki 2-0 lead.
 Bayelsa United forced visiting Lobi Stars to a 1-1 draw in their first league game in Benin on Sunday.
 Coach Justin Tenger-led side took the fight to Bayelsa United and were rewarded with the lead in the 43rd minute when Obioma Arinze scored.
 Lobi new boy Uche Ihuerulam fails to scores against his former team on the hour mark.
 Respite came for Bayelsa United when Eric Frimpong nodded home the equaliser in the 75th minute.
 Bayelsa United captain Salomon Junior was sent off in the 90th minute for pushing an opponent inside the Lobi box.
