Nigeria advanced to the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup after they trounced Congo 4-1 on Wednesday despite playing over 70 minutes a man short.

shooting beyond goalkeeper Pavelh Ndzila.
The Flying Eagles increased their lead in the 35th minute, when man of the match Taiwo Awoniyi was brought down inside the box and skipper Musa Muhammed tucked away the penalty.

Congo reduced the tally after 62 minutes, when Silvere Mboussey connected home a long ball beyond Ojo for his second goal of the competition.
Awoniyi scored a beauty of a goal in the 87th minute when he controlled a pass by Ifeanyi matthew before smashing past the Congo goalkeeper.
He is now the leading scoring at the biennial championship with three goals.
Nigeria goalkeeper Joshua Enaholo was sent off for a professional in the 26th minute, when he brought down Fred Ngoma, who was clear on goal after the Flying Eagles defence was caught napping.
